As I sit here and struggle to put Andrea & Bryan’s wedding reception in words, only one word comes to mind: perfection. And I know, it might seem like a cliché word here on my Reception Recaps blog, but I can’t stop thinking about what went down last night, July 4, 2015, at the beautiful Laurel Creek Manor in Sumner, Washington. From start to finish, it was perfection. And while sparkler exits are great, you can’t beat having your own personal fireworks show to end the night.
God Bless America.
I’ve known Andrea and Bryan since our glory days at Sumner High School. And from the moment Andrea asked me if I would DJ her 4th of July wedding, I knew two things. One, the answer was “YES!” and two, I needed to challenge myself to help her and Bryan create the best wedding reception any of their 250+ guests have ever been to. The kind of reception where at the end, everyone just wants to keep dancing in hopes that the night never ends. That’s what Andrea & Bryan wanted, and damnit, that’s what they deserved.
If the hug that I got at the end of the night from the new Mr. and Mrs. Marquez was any indication, a great time was had by all.
Congratulations Bryan & Andrea! Thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding celebration. It was the best night, ever. You have amazing friends, wonderful families, and it was an honor to serve you.
Bryan & Andrea’s Five-Star Review
Okay, I’ll begin by saying, “Hire Tony! You won’t regret it.” Tony’s model is unlike any other DJ I came across: he is with you throughout the planning process and helps create a detailed outline for your wedding day, meticulously designed to your tastes to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly all night and properly reflects you as a couple. I genuinely appreciated all the thought and detail that went into our planning sessions with Tony, and I was absolutely overjoyed on the day of our wedding with how fantastic Tony was! He’s got a great personality that will mesh well with you, your wedding party, and your family/friends. He offers MC services to keep everything on schedule, and as a DJ, is second to none! OUR DANCE FLOOR WAS PACKED ALL NIGHT with excellent song after excellent song! I have been to tons of weddings, and I’ve never experienced a music mix and dance floor quite like the one at my wedding – and it is all because of Tony. Each and every request we had was met and he exceeded every expectation I could have had. He has the uncanny ability to determine which songs are best for which moment, and does all the music mixing live; this is no pre-recorded music list!! Tony is the best there is: do yourself a favor and make your wedding reception one for the record books by hiring Tony Schwartz!
