From time to time, I get a strong inclination just from the initial consultation meeting that with the right approach, certain wedding receptions have the potential of becoming awesome, unforgettable evenings. And just from my first phone conversation with Jasmine, I knew that if she and Delas selected me as their Master of Ceremonies and DJ, their wedding reception would definitely be One of Those Nights.
And I’m not going to lie: I may have slightly underestimated my inclination. Jasmine & Delas’ wedding reception wasn’t just an awesome party; it’s a strong candidate for Reception of the Year. And possibly even Reception of the Decade.
Jasmine & Delas’s wedding reception in Kirkland was everything a great reception should be: high-energy with the right amount of romance mixed in throughout; emotional moments that brought on laughter and tears of joy; surprise formalities that led to unforgettable moments; great food and plenty of libations; and a group of individuals, tightly crammed into the Woodmark Hotel’s Marina Room, all coming together as one giant family to celebrate on the dance floor. And the best part was: they never left the dance floor until the final song of the night, The Chainsmoker’s “Closer“, concluded the evening’s festivities.
Packed. Floor. All. Night. Long. From funk to hip-hop, classic party throwbacks to current Top 40 hits, and everything in between, the dance floor was electric! I think tables were even moved back to clear even more space for people to join in on the fun. And I’m perfectly fine with that. 😉
Bravo Jasmine & Delas, bravo. Thank you so much for the honor of allowing me to celebrate with you and your closest family and friends. Like that awesome Seahawks dress shirt Delas wore, I’ll never forget the awesome presentations we designed and the fantastic moments you, your wedding party, your family, and all of your esteemed guests created from your wedding and reception at the Woodmark Hotel. Best wedding, ever, indeed.
Shout out to Kyle Goldie for the fantastic photo coverage of the entire day; your work sampled below is phenomenal. And thank you to my weekend assistant Alana for stepping up and hosting the Classic Photo Booth for my company, The Puget Sound Photo Booth Co., as well; you go above and beyond and I’m proud to have you as a part of the team.
Jasmine & Delas’ Five-Star Review
Tony Schwartz is without a doubt THE BEST vendor selection made during our wedding planning process. From the moment I spoke with Tony he eased my anxiety and I knew I could trust him with our wedding day. When it came to the order of events (details of the ceremony and reception), I had no clue where to begin; after speaking with him and working through the binder he sent us, we had a much better understanding of the details we wanted for our wedding. Tony is extremely organized, experienced, full of great ideas, and easy to work with. He was basically our wedding planner LOL. He took the vision we had and brought it to life; the energy of our wedding was phenomenal and the dance floor was PACKED ALL NIGHT. Our friends and family constantly compliment us on how our wedding was the best one they’ve attended and it was because of the work Tony put into it; from the PhotoBooth to the music, he and his employees ROCKED it! Thank you so much, Tony! We can’t wait to find another excuse to book you.
