The 50s & 60s Love Songs Prelude Playlist

This 50s & 60s Love Songs Prelude Playlist was inspired by one of my Rock Star Couples, Mike & Kayla. They wanted to feature some classic love songs for their Prelude, which tied in nicely to the songs they selected for their wedding ceremony’s Processional.

Because some of the 50s & 60s songs selected were borderline mid-tempo, I arranged the playlist in such an order that the tempo worked downwards as the start of the ceremony neared. The final song was selected for its epic ending, and it was played right before the Processional began and Mike made his Groom’s Entrance. As perhaps the most recognizable classic love song on the playlist, it was a nice touch to save the best song of the Playlist for last.

Enjoy these selections, and as always, the full Spotify playlist is available at the end!
